I’ve always been drawn to understanding how the world works, and more specifically, how businesses create and sustain economic value. That curiosity has been shaped by reading widely, travelling, and forming my own views rather than simply accepting consensus.
I studied BA Economics, Finance and Banking, followed by an MSc in Finance and Investment, which gave me a strong grounding in markets, corporate finance and quantitative analysis. I’ve also completed the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and I’m currently a CFA Level II candidate, which continues to shape how I think about public markets, risk and portfolio decisions.
Over time I realised that numbers alone rarely answer the key questions:
Answering that means going beyond spreadsheets and thinking hard about business models, competitive positioning, unit economics, incentives and catalysts. I’m interested in ideas across different time horizons – from shorter-term, catalyst-driven setups to multi-year structural stories – where there is a clear fundamental thesis behind them.
Analyst Memos is where I bring that together in public. It’s a personal portfolio of buy-side–style investment memos on companies I follow, and a way to hold myself to a clear research process and written standard. Making my work visible also invites critique and conversation, which I see as an important part of getting better as an analyst.
